With the economy so tight, I wanted to make some things that are affordable for everyone, and that can sit out year 'round.I've made these little blocks, reminiscent of the ones I played with in my childhood, from 1 1/2" x 1 1/2" pine, and have painted, sanded, and stained them to give them a wonderful aged look.

This one shown says, "OLD TOYS" in a barn red, and "WELCOME" in a dark, drab green.
I will be making more, with sayings like, "FAITH", "AMERICA", "FRIENDS", and who knows what else I'll come up with!
