LOTS of Vintage Goodies

So my sister Kathy (aka LaLa) and I tend to do weekly outings in search of vintage finds and we rarely come home without having found something good!

I now have in my Etsy shop, a lot of these vintage finds.

A few of the recently listed items:

Old U.S. Army copper buttons
A really cool tin from a candy shop in Chicago (1958)
Chilren's playing cards (1956)
Wool plaid blanket
Linens
Handbags
Cookbooks

Oh just so many things - hop over and take a peek :)

Purging Some of My Supplies n Things

Every now and then, I have to purge....no, I'm not making myself throw up after eating or anything crazy like that...
I just accumulate sooooooo much stuff, and I feel like I'm suffocating, so I'm going through my supplies and "what nots" that I find at thrift stores, etc., and putting them on Ebay.

The first item is a beautiful teal wool lap blanket. It only measures 27"x50", so it's got to either be a children's blanket or a cutter. I bought it because I just can't pass up a wool blanket when I see one, but then I got it home and nothing I make ever seems to incorporate this color....

Opening bid is only $4.99!

The second item I listed is this adorable little star shaped wire purse, which could be hung in a vanity or dressing area, or as one friend said, in a bathroom with soaps and other goodies.

Opening bid is only $3.99!

Stay tuned....I'm just beginning to purge...lol
Who knows what all I'll find hidden away in one of my many storage boxes or hall closet?

I'm T*A*R*D*!!!!

Whewwwwwww........I stayed up until almost 1 a.m. last night, after receiving the long awaited email from DIY, that my store was ready to have graphics and inventory loaded.
I had previously had my site with them, so I knew my way around pretty good.
I wanted to at least get my buttons and backgrounds loaded, and when I did, I just wasn't thrilled with the colors or look, so I played around until I couldn't keep my eyes open any longer and started all over again bright and early this morning.
I spent literally allllllll day long playing on Photo Shop, and searching through the various help threads on DIY to tweek my site to where I would be somewhat satisfied....lol
I'm pretty picky about some things, and really wanted to give my site an "Extreme Makeover - Web Addition", and I can say right now, that I'm pretty pleased with the look.
Check it out - the new and improved Little Sister's Dolls!

While you're there, if you aren't already one of my subscribers to my newsletter, there's a spot on the homepage where you can sign up by entering your email addy.
A button on the left side of the home page will take you to a separate page, where you can read the perks of being a subscriber.

Thanks for looking.....I'm calling it a NIGHT!
