"Commit to the Lord whatever you do and your plans will succeed". Proverbs 16:3
Notice the word, "whatever" - fill in the blank - job, marriage, children, ministry....
What the Lord is telling us here is that if we will trust him with any and every part of our lives, and commit ourselves to His will in these situations, we will succeed in them.
In my notes in the margins of my Bible, I've written down dates of when I committed my job to him, anxiety about my finances, and once I wrote down the date of going to the dentist because of the fear I was in about that. That might sound trivial, but to me it was an important part of my life, and I couldn't face it alone; I needed Him to be with me and get me through it. He did, and He will every time.
We have got to get to the place in our hearts and minds to realize that there is nothing in this world regarding us that doesn't concern Him. He wants us to come to Him with "whatever", because all of our "whatevers" matter to Him.
May your day be filled with the goodness and blessings of The Lord.

Janelle,
I sent this to as lady that I used to go to church with. She has kept in contact with me even though Tim and I have not been attending services. It has meant the world to me that she cares enough to e-mail me and gives me someone to just bounce stuff off of. I consider her a dear friend just like you.
