Birds of a Feather Create Together Launch

Surely Spring is just around the corner....at least we girls in TDIPT are hoping so!
This Sunday, Feb. 21, we will be having a launch on Ebay -
"Birds of a Feather Create Together".
I'm so excited to see what all everyone has come up with for this one.....think of all the possibilities!

Artists' Choice Awards

I am a member of a group on Ebay called "The Artists' Choice Awards", which is a group of over 500 members of artists of every genre.

Each year, members submit photo albums within the group of what they consider their best pieces of work, and then in January, the nominations for the awards begins. Only members of the group can nominate artists on Ebay, but the nominees do not have to be a member of the group.

Once the finalists in each category are announced, those who are not members of the group are invited in, to accept their nominations and make a story board within the group.

I was very honored this past week, to have been nominated in the DOLLS Category, and lemme tell ya - I'm up against some of the BEST! One name in particular is "Cart Before the Horse" - a husband and wife team that makes some of the best original dolls I've ever seen. To even make it into the finals with someone of that caliber is very humbling, to say the least!

In the next week or so, the members of the group will once again cast their votes from those who have made the finals, and awards will be given out in each of the categories, to 1st, 2nd, 3rd and Honorable Mention.

I'm just very grateful and appreciative of those who thought enough of my work to have even nominated me into the finals.

• A 30+" Snow Bunny, dressed in Vintage white chenille, and Vintage Dusty Pink Wool

I wanted to also mention that I also have been very busy making these little cinnamon ornies, which will I offer in shapes of stars and snowflakes. Some have been painted and sanded, then are dusted with German Glass Glitter, and some will come with their natural brown color, sprinkled with German Glass Glitter. The ones which are painted, have the appearance of vintage tin ornaments. Their hangers are natural raffia, and they come in sets of (3) and would look great on your Primitive decorated Christmas tree, or another great idea to use them for is to adorn the fronts of your gifts, instead of a traditional bow.
