Artists' Choice Awards

I am a member of a group on Ebay called "The Artists' Choice Awards", which is a group of over 500 members of artists of every genre.

Each year, members submit photo albums within the group of what they consider their best pieces of work, and then in January, the nominations for the awards begins. Only members of the group can nominate artists on Ebay, but the nominees do not have to be a member of the group.

Once the finalists in each category are announced, those who are not members of the group are invited in, to accept their nominations and make a story board within the group.

I was very honored this past week, to have been nominated in the DOLLS Category, and lemme tell ya - I'm up against some of the BEST! One name in particular is "Cart Before the Horse" - a husband and wife team that makes some of the best original dolls I've ever seen. To even make it into the finals with someone of that caliber is very humbling, to say the least!

In the next week or so, the members of the group will once again cast their votes from those who have made the finals, and awards will be given out in each of the categories, to 1st, 2nd, 3rd and Honorable Mention.

I'm just very grateful and appreciative of those who thought enough of my work to have even nominated me into the finals.
