I'm so excited to see what all everyone in the group has come up with for this

It's for the Birds

I just finished another couple of birds that will be listed on Ebay come Sunday, Feb. 21 for the TDIPT launch, "Birds of a Feather Create Together".
The bluebird is a little more simple than the painted Robin.....but I'm liking the way it has turned out :)

I've taken a sneak peek at some other offerings by the other artists, and lemme tell ya -
there are some awesome works
making the Ebay scene Sunday!

Purging Some of My Supplies n Things

Every now and then, I have to purge....no, I'm not making myself throw up after eating or anything crazy like that...
I just accumulate sooooooo much stuff, and I feel like I'm suffocating, so I'm going through my supplies and "what nots" that I find at thrift stores, etc., and putting them on Ebay.

The first item is a beautiful teal wool lap blanket. It only measures 27"x50", so it's got to either be a children's blanket or a cutter. I bought it because I just can't pass up a wool blanket when I see one, but then I got it home and nothing I make ever seems to incorporate this color....

Opening bid is only $4.99!

The second item I listed is this adorable little star shaped wire purse, which could be hung in a vanity or dressing area, or as one friend said, in a bathroom with soaps and other goodies.

Opening bid is only $3.99!

Stay tuned....I'm just beginning to purge...lol
Who knows what all I'll find hidden away in one of my many storage boxes or hall closet?

TDIPT Candy Corn Carnival on Ebay

So it's been awhile since TDIPT has done a launch on Ebay, and Patty of Dogpatch Primitives (our awesome TDIPT group leader), came up with the brilliant idea to do one starting this Sunday, Aug. 2, with the theme "Candy Corn Carnival".

Now it wasn't easy for me to come up with something to fit into that theme, I dug deep into the distorted and humorous recesses of my brain and imagination, I managed to get this guy done up today.
He's a shelf sitter - another of my Stumpy Dolls, and is OoAK.

I think he's got the perfect Used Car Salesman smirk on his face, don't you? :) This next week though, he'll be on Ebay trying to push candy corn...
Make sure you check into Ebay this Sunday and type TDIPT into your browser, to see all the other items offered by the members of our group!

WAY out of Character for Me!

Ok...so now I'm REALLY out of character here...lol
I never do Extreme Prims, but had this stained muslin dollie sitting around, and thought I'd make her into a very extreme black witch...
She's now listed on Ebay.

I'm used to doing more "Folk Art-y" kinda stuff, where I detail their faces with artist's pencils and such, but there are a LOT of people who just want the really grungy and "not so pretty" kinda dollies to decorate with....lol
So, here's my "not so pretty" hag of a witch...

Just Listed on Ebay

So this is WAY out of character for me - I tend to stick to Fall items like scarecrows and such, but this morning as I made up a round head doll, I thought I'd try my hand at a Count Dracula, and am pretty pleased with how he turned out.
He is now listed on Ebay with an opening bid of $29.95

This is a OoAK original by me, and new for 2009
He looks awesome next to Isadora the Witch :)

So I'm Giving Ebay Another Try

After months of not listing on Ebay, due to their outrageous fees and such, I thought I'd give it another shot today, as I discovered that there are no listing fees at the moment....how long this will last is anyone's guess, so I jumped on the bandwagon, while the ride is free...lol

I've never done any Halloween items, but have come up with a few this year, and just listed "Isadora" for a 5 day listing, with the opening bid at $29.95.
If she sells.....I might have to consider making another similar dollie to list on the TDIPT Mercantile come Aug. 1 :)

She's a OoAK Stump doll, and comes with her German glass glittered hat.

Simple Times and Simple Joys

As I said in my post this morning about how I so enjoyed growing up in a time when things were more simple, I guess that kinda got stuck in my head, so today I just wanted to work on just some plain ole simple things.

I pulled out some nappy faux sheep's wool, some stained muslin, and some vintage feed sack, and finally found a use for these rusty old square nails! The farm animals are for sale on Etsy, and I put the simple doll on Ebay.

I'm thinking I need to find some kind of old spools or something similar in all my boxes of "stuff", and see if I can't come up with how to make some of these into pull toys.

Thanks for looking!

New on Ebay

I forgot to post a picture of the Santa on a Stick Horse that I put on Ebay yesterday.
My sweet hubby made the base of him, and mounted the horse into it for me; he loves helping me on my projects, and his workmanship is always top-notch!

New Extreme Primitive Black Santa

I don't know why I've been wanting to do more extreme Prims lately, but I whipped up this 19" Santa today and listed him on Ebay for a 3 day listing.

He's dressed in vintage feedsack, which I've added some coffee staining to in various places, to give him a well worn look.

He's holding a tree made from the same fabric; stained and embroidered with little white stars. A cinnamon painted and glittered star hangs from his other hand.
He has a loop on the back of his cap to hang from, or he can be seated alongside your other Prim Christmas decor!
His opening bid is only $19.99

Charity Auction

A dear friend Pam, of Goldieloo Woodworks, is having an auction for charity on Ebay. The charity she is going to be giving all proceeds to is Humane Society of Marion County, in Arkansas.
I have some of Pam's wood "chunkies" signs in my home, and her workmanship is outstanding!
Here's a link to her auction: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=110309001622
Don't miss out on this one y'all!
