New Wool Handbag

Today I wanted to sew, seeing how I haven't done so in a couple of weeks! I wasn't in the mood to make any kind of doll, but ran across this Vogue pattern that I've had for a long time and had forgotten about.
Of course, I had to NOT follow the directions, and make it my own style! The one shown on the pattern calls for a crazy quilt design, which I do want to make at some point - just didn't have the time to look through all my fabrics to piece together.
I've listed this on Etsy - , or you can email me if you are interested in purchasing it.

PRICE: 29.00

Wool bag made with vintage red, ivory and green blankets
A medium sized vintage white button is used on front of strap
Strap has ivory blanket stitched edges and an olive green feather stitch down the center
Back of bag - a small vintage white button attaches it to the bag

Detail of front of bag
Feather stitched stem and yellow and white seed beads for detailing

Inside lining - sassy little red and white polka dot cotton print

Janelle, I love your new handbags, best of luck with them.

I also enjoyed all the family pics. It's wonderful you got to go to Dude's graduation, I'm sure that was a most special time for you. And the sister get-together, bet that was a fun evening. You're lucky that many of you are close enough to go out to dinner and have a good time together.

I want to wish you, Bill and your entire family a very blessed Holiday season and a very Happy, Healthy New Year.~Diane
